Clinical Interests: I primarily work with adults. Working in community mental health for many years I have worked with people from all walks of life. I facilitate a weekly women’s DBT group and really enjoy this curriculum as a main focus for interventions. Working on day-to-day stabilization and increasing peoples’ ability to manage stress in their life is common in my clinical work. I am also trained in EMDR and can work with people on reprocessing past situations that are impacting a person’s life.
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work from The College of St. Scholastica
Hobbies: Billiards, listening to music, watching movies, snowmobiling, four wheeling, camping, spending time with family and friends, cooking

Why do you work at RMHC? I absolutely love working with people. RMHC provides me many opportunities to support people during the hardest times and the good times in their lives. The company is very flexible with me for a work schedule, supervisors listen to me when needed, there are a lot of opportunities for advancement, and my co-workers are the best. I am proud to be an RMHC employee and to be part of a great team.
What should clients know about you? If you are seeing me for therapy, we are going to talk about difficult subjects, but I’m going to make it as comfortable and safe for you as possible. Life is tough, and sometimes unfortunate and difficult things continue to happen. It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to see a therapist when needed.
