Clinical Interests: Interested in working with children in a school environment, interested in utilizing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and play therapy. I am also interested in the possibility of assisting in administering psychological testing under those qualified to complete psychological testing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UMD and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pheonix. I have been working in the mental health field for about 6 1/2 years holding several positions in that time: EIDBI practitioner, children’s & families case manager, CTSS practitioner, and mental health therapist.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading books, spending time with friends and family, and exercise (walking outside and weightlifting).
When did you join RMHC? I previously worked with RMHC in the ADAPT program as a mental health practitioner in the South Ridge School, and I completed my clinical internship at RMHC. I re-joined RMHC February 2025 to work in the schools as a school-based therapist.
Why do you work at RMHC? My previous experience working with RMHC was the motivation to return. My experience entailed the following: knowledgeable, empathetic, and responsive supervision/leadership, a mission that aligns with my own values, and open communication among all team members. RMHC is a well-rounded agency that is always looking for ways to improve and listening to their employees.
